Nook Love

Before we bought our first house, I'm pretty sure that as a renter, the number one thing I dreamed about was a cozy built-in nook of my own. A place to drink coffee {or champagne...no judgement here} in the morning or read in the evenings...Custom cushioned and filled to the brim with vintage textiles, down-filled pillows and other fancy one of a kind things.

Last summer my husband built us two banquettes for our lounge outside, which I realize I never photographed...whoops, and we also transformed an old bench in our entry {@here}. But I'm feeling new inspiration is in order for Spring... I'll be perusing these photos for some styling tips...

How to get the look...start with an awesome base cushion...if you can't afford custom, may I recommend @this one from Urban Outfitters...
